Kapton® Tape is a high-temperature polyimide film tape designed for demanding electrical, electronic, and industrial applications requiring exceptional thermal stability and dielectric performance. Widely used across automotive, aerospace, marine, locomotive, and electronics manufacturing industries, Kapton tape maintains mechanical and electrical integrity under extreme operating conditions.

Commonly applied for electrical insulation, transformer and capacitor wrapping, and magnetic wire protection, this tape provides reliable insulation where conventional tapes fail. Kapton tape is also extensively used as a high-temperature solder masking solution during hand soldering and wave soldering processes, protecting sensitive circuit board components and preventing unintended electrical contact.

The silicone adhesive system allows clean removal after exposure to elevated temperatures while maintaining strong adhesion during processing.
