Challenge
With so many new products, WLC faced the arduous task of transitioning from manual labeling to automation while accommodating the variety of labels required – each catering to different market segments and liquor types.
They needed a label partner who could deliver variety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
The biggest obstacle: Each new product required a distinct design, fit, and material to complement its unique bottle shape and size. That meant a printer with the flexibility to offer a lot of changeovers and prototypes.
“Ultimately, when looking into different label printers, two things are crucial: quality and price,” Fabian Sacher, CEO of West Street Liquor Company, explained.
Usually, they would attend packaging trade shows to evaluate different vendors. But by chance, Sacher reached out to NADCO’s founders, Neil Doniger, and Rena’ Johnson, unaware that the couple were regular visitors to Aruba and could meet in person.

Solution
Recognizing WLC’s diverse labeling needs and budgetary concerns, NADCO devised a personalized solution. By providing credits over multiple years for each printing tool purchased, they set up cost-efficient production for the variety of shapes and sizes of labels with different materials and cuts.
Moreover, NADCO provided flexibility in accommodating varying order quantities, reflecting their commitment to supporting WLC’s evolving product lineup.
“The implementation process was seamless with NADCO,” said Carla Kok, Marketing Manager. “To ensure everything would go as planned, they even provided sample labels for testing so compatibility issues with our products and processes wouldn’t be a problem.”
Results
The reliable production ensured a quick turnaround and reduced downtime in WLC’s bottling process. The financial incentives uniquely tailored to their business not only benefited their bottom line but also fostered growth.
Additionally, NADCO’s proactive communication and meticulous attention to detail streamlined the artwork approval process, with new orders progressing from placement to production swiftly.
“Because of their consistent label quality and reliable shipping,” said Sacher. “NADCO has become our primary label supplier.”

Rena’ and Neil Doniger, accompanied by their daughter, celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Aruba Trading Company. Aruba has been their cherished destination since 1992.
“While we immediately liked Neil and Rena’ upon meeting them,” said Sacher, “we still conducted a thorough comparison with competitors and found that NADCO met those needs and stood out as our top choice.”
The spirit of expansion continues
Sacher noted that for WLC, NADCO’s significance extends beyond expertise and material variety. Their adaptability to quickly respond to an ever-changing business and prioritize an ongoing, trustworthy partnership is invaluable.
It’s a relationship that has been pivotal in WLC’s expansion across North America and one that has helped keep their confidence in further market growth. With a growing presence in numerous U.S. resorts and casinos, WLC has expanded to offer over 50 spirits and liqueurs.
“NADCO is our cornerstone label partner for this region,” said Sacher. “They’ve been instrumental in navigating our growth over the past seven years and beyond. Without a doubt, we trust them to continue supporting us in the future.”
